BELOW 23 lbs salmon. Caught in the River tay. This beautiful fresh run Salmon is a skin mount. The piece can be viewed from all sides and is known as a pedestal mount. This type of presentation, though unusual, works very well and looks beautiful in the right setting. It is on solid English Ash base and is presented in a case to protect the mount from dust and damage. |

THESE IMAGES SHOW PART OF THE RESTOATION OF A BROWN TROUT. THIS FISH WAS ORIGINALLY CAUGHT AND MOUNTED IN 1977. THE FISH WAS BADLY PREPARED BY AN AMATEUR TAXIDERMIST AND DETERIORATED BADLY IN THE YEARS AFTER. THE PHOTO ON THE LEFT SHOWS THE FISH WHEN IT ARRIVED AT MY STUDIO. THE IMAGE BELOW IF OF THE FISH COMPLETELY RESTORED AND RECASED IN A TRADITIONAL BOW FRONTED CASE WITH GOLD LETTERING.
